Energy keeps Coregarden from feeling like a chore. You wake up with 80 stamina each day. Planting takes 8. Watering takes 5. Breeding costs 20. When it's gone, you refill one point every few minutes, or spend premium currency to top off instantly. Most people burn through it in 10–20 minutes of play, then put the phone down. The point of the system is that without it, you're always thinking about the next move. With it, you spend your energy on what you actually want to do today and feel fine leaving. Your stamina comes back on its own, so there's no penalty for stopping. Plants grow while you're gone. Tomorrow you come back to something different. That's the loop.
Most players finihs in 10–20 minutes when stamina runs out. No grinding. No reason to stay longer.

Planting uses 8 energy. Watering uses 5. Breeding uses 20. Run out and it trickles back at one point every 3 Minutes or you can Refill Instantly with premium currency. Most people play for 10–20 minutes at a time so it never feels forced.
Start with 6×8 tiles. After months of regular play you can reach around 12×16. You unlock more space by harvesting and breeding so growth keeps happening without spending anything.

Players ask these all the time. Here's what actually happens, no sugar-coating.
Not really. After a month or so, free and paying players are basically at the same spot. You can pay to speed up stamina refills or expand your garden, but both of those happen on their own if you're patient. Anything you buy with real money is just decoration—fences, paths, scarecrows. None of it changes how the game works.
It comes back next year. Your Halloween hybrids show up again in October. Easter variants roll around in spring. You're not locked out forever, and you won't get punished for skipping a couple days.
Depends what you want. You'll stumble into basic combinations within a week of regular play and get a new color without trying. The rarer stuff takes longer because breeding has random elements mixed in. Most people find around a dozen new hybrids in month one, then spend the next few weeks hunting for specific colors they actually care about.
Plants grow fine without internet. Your energy comes back offline too. You only need a connection to sync your account or post on the community board. Plant something before sleep, turn off, come back 8 hours later and it'll be ready.
